Attendees: Stephen DeVito, Dale Capuano, Jackie Buck, Anna Parrill, Sherry Kilgus Kramer, Jen Gulezian, Jen Metcalf, Tara Hailey, Christing Cochran, Becky Edgington, Alicia LaDuke, Joan Kurr
Budget: We are approved for non-profit status for Charity gaming in Pelham. Still waiting for application process to go through.
Senior Breakfast is June 11th seniors from the High School return to visit their former teachers at Soule.
Calendar Raffle made $1200 so far
NED SHOW needs volunteers for before school and during lunch time to sell yo yos. Alicia to address.
Rob Surette Show went well on Saturday April 10th, We had over 400 tickets sales total for all schools, even though Soule had a tough time with ticket Sales. 50/50 raffle went over really well and the winner brought home over $300. We sold 15 tickets for 10$ and that seemed to help. We won the Beethoven Painting.
Principal Report:
7 weeks of school remain
May 10 and 11 4th and 5th grader science NECAP
Drizzle Author to come in on May 13, will do book sign at Barnes and Nobles after school.
Last Book Chat is the Beach Trip on May 13, meet at restaurant.
June 7th is Field day with June 11 as a rain date.
Full day Kindergarten to begin here in the fall and also at Lancaster. There will be a charge for those children who want this option.
Teacher Appreciation Week is the first week in MAY so a discussion followed.
Board Nominations:
President: Christine Cochran will hopefully have the position with one more year with a mentorship with someone else.
Vice President: Tara Hailey
Media Secretary: Diane Reilly or maybe someone else?
Volunteer Coordinators, Becky and Alicia are talking about another term.
Treasurers: Hope Jen and Jen will both be staying on the board!
Recording Secretary: Joan Kurr
Next meeting May 20 for board elections and last PTA meeting for the year.
