Welcome

Motion to approve March mtg minutes – approved

Budget Discussion – At this point we need $4,810 to finish off the year. We have a balance of $4,855 so we are going to make it this year!

We have applied for two grants through Walmart and Paymentech.

Artworks is a success – letters went home reminding parents if they are not buying the magnets to please return them.  If magnets are not returned we will owe $120.  Our profit is at $720 if all magnets are returned.

Calendar Raffle was a success although standing and selling at Walmart without their matching donation was not worth it.  Profit was just over $2000.

Feedback of Events

Yearbook Committee – Joanne Casazza

Monday pages are being sent to Geskus.  – Thanks to Joanne Casazza, Michelle Whittaker, Kristine Nippert, Sharon Morton and all helping to make this possible.

Going very well.   Next year we will have software set up specifically for yearbook and layouts will be easier.

Ice Cream Social – Nancy Russo and Susan Stanganelli

Last flyer out today with a mention of raffle prizes – Volunteer schedule went out and we had a great response for ice scream scoopers.

Classroom baskets – going well.

The cost of Ice Scream has increased will be over $375

Playground Map Painting

We have the original stencil which we will be scheduling a date for volunteers to paint.  Plan is to do this now and not wait for next  year.

Pie Guy – small sales for Easter but good turn out.  Next year we are planning on Thanksgiving and eliminating Christmas

Movie Night – good turn out – children were much better sitting in chairs rather than the floor like last year.  The speakers were great. It was uncomfortable turning people away when they brought siblings either older or younger than Soule school aged.

Volunteer Coordination – Please send in your volunteer hours.  Volunteer appreciation will be celebrated with a note of thanks to all volunteers and also will be placed on the signboard.
