Calendar Raffle  Just went out! We need to pull in some money! Per Jen, we need to profit 2K from the sales of the calendar raffle to be where we want to be with the budget. All donations have been received and we have decided to sell calendars in April for a May giveaway. We are going to put out a flyer tomorrow and offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize for the student that sells the most calendars. 1) $25, 2) $15 3) $10. Also the class the sells the most will receive a free recess.

Earth Clean Day – March 24th

Principal Matters   Anna Parrill

Anna requested we take a look at the budget at the end of the year. If the budget allows she would like us to consider making a donation to the dentists that provided screenings to so many needed children.

Parent Involvement Committee met and discussed events of the past year. Math day, Grandparents day were a big hit. Grandparent’s day will be added to the volunteer packet for next year. We decided to have Cultural night and Movie Night take a year off. Ideas to replace these events are: Italian Night with a twist and Board Game Night.

Anna would like us to peruse a donation at Strictly By the Book. Teacher discount, donation, free books.

Yearbook Committee- Joanne Cassazza/ Sharon Morton. The first meeting was Friday March 13th. Things are well underway and the cover and other ideas to date look fantastic! They are looking for a second and fourth grade parent volunteer.
